When to build
your wedding website
There is no single date, because a wedding website isn't sent once: you open it early and fill it in as you go. Most couples create it once they have a date and a venue, even if the menu or the timeline is months away. Since you can edit it any time and the link never changes, there's no need to wait until everything is settled.
9-12 months before
You create it with what you already know — names, date and venue — and send it as a save the date. That's enough for people to hold the day.
3-4 months before
You add the timeline, the menu, transport and accommodation, and open the RSVPs. The link is the same, so nothing needs resending.
The final week
If a time changes, a coach is cancelled or a guest is added at the last minute, you update it and everyone sees the current version when they open the link.

What to check when choosing

Where does the data end up?
RSVPs carry your people's names, menus and allergies. Check that you can export them and that nobody else keeps a copy.

What you usually ask us
- Is this the same as a digital invitation?
- Yes. It's the same page and the same link: it opens like an invitation, with its wax-sealed envelope, and below it holds everything you'd expect from a wedding website. No choosing between the two, and no paying twice.
- Do my guests need to install anything or sign up?
- No. They open the link in the browser they already use, with nothing to install. They don't need an account to RSVP either: filling in the form is enough.
- Will older guests manage?
- It's the most common worry. All they do is tap the link: it opens like any page, with large type and a single button to RSVP. If someone replies to you by phone, you can record it yourselves from the dashboard.
- Can I change it after sending it?
- Yes, as often as you like and at no cost. The link doesn't change: whoever opens it always sees the latest version, so there's nothing to resend.
- How long does the website stay online?
- It stays live until twelve months after the wedding, so there's time to show it around and gather whatever you need. If you postpone the date, we extend the period to match the new one. After that you can renew it from the dashboard.
- Can we choose the website address?
- Yes. The address carries your names — something like eternamente.si/camila-y-lorenzo — and you choose it when you create the site. That's what makes it recognisable on WhatsApp instead of looking like any old link.
- We have guests from other countries. Will they understand it?
- You choose the language you write it in and can offer up to two more, from a long list that includes Catalan, Galician and Basque. You write it once and each guest reads it in their own, which they choose from the invitation itself; their answers always reach you in your language.
- What if we have to postpone the wedding?
- Simply change the date on the site: we extend the active period to match the new one, so postponing doesn't cost you the wedding website. As the link doesn't change, anyone who already has it will see the new date without needing to be told.
- Can it play music?
- Yes. You pick a track from our catalogue and it plays when the envelope opens — or you leave it silent if you prefer. If you also share a playlist, your guests can request the song they want to dance to.
- What if the family wants paper?
- You can do both. Plenty of couples send the link to everyone and print a few cards for those who prefer paper.
